Since the other forum was blocked, I'm trying to continue the discussion here.

Regarding oil temperature:
I meant what the maximum oil temperature is, for example, 140°C or 150°C. On the highway, I would rather ease off the accelerator before the oil film breaks down.
According to Volkswagen, there is no need for immediate action if the oil temperature in the TDI engine reaches 140°C. However, I'm not entirely sure if that's correct!

And regarding the purchase price:

Sure, you're right. I was just hoping that someone might have an idea or even a value, like maybe 50 nm or something!

I already have the adapter installed, but there's still a little bit of leakage between the adapter and the oil cooler (VW). I'm hesitant to tighten it any further because there's an old saying: 'Too tight, and it will break' or 'Too tight, and it will loosen.'

Best regards, Mark.

"... in that case, you should probably ask the oil companies."

Every oil has specific properties, and the critical temperature varies for each type of oil. Maintaining oil temperatures of 150°C is likely not a problem for good quality oils, although it may increase wear. Furthermore, you cannot determine when the lubricating ability is exhausted simply by measuring the oil temperature (I consider the expression "...oil film breaks down" to be an outdated and nonsensical term that is still often used). This condition depends on the oil's quality and its state of degradation. Therefore, it is impossible to generally say at what temperature the lubricating ability ceases.
An oil pressure gauge (when used in conjunction with the oil temperature) provides much more information.
