What should be considered when reconditioning used VP37 nozzles for later reuse?

Should they be protected from internal corrosion in some way (besides, of course, dry storage)?
If so, how and with what do you do it?

Well, it's the part that you can normally pull out of the cylinder head as a whole after removing the injector lines and the retaining claws.

Correctly, it should probably be called a nozzle holder combination.
