I have a diesel gearbox (CEG) from a Polo 3, which is unfortunately difficult to find. Does anyone know if there's an equivalent version for a gasoline engine (possibly the AEB?), and whether it could be used as a replacement?
Thank you.

I understand that, but it's not explicitly stated that the AEB engine has the same translations/drive axles. It's just not listed as a gasoline engine option... or does that mean it won't work for installation?

Hi there.
I mean that the right-hand side Gelwave flange is longer on the CEG unit.
"However, it's quite clear; if that's the case, you need to install the flange from the CEG into the AEB and that should do it. Otherwise, everything should fit."
