Hello everyone!
Bitte gib mir den deutschen Text, den du übersetzt haben möchtest.
I once used VCDS to read the data from my particulate filter! Now it shows 0.12 for oil ash content.
Is that the ash content? When is the filter full of ash, or when does it need to be replaced? Does anyone happen to know?
Bitte gib mir den deutschen Text, den du übersetzt haben möchtest.

Hi.

Please provide more information.
- Which engine (model code)?
- the precise measurement blocks.

It's very easy to do; just click "Save" within each section.

... there was another T.

I don't know what the f*ck it was.

Yes, sorry!
I'll provide the data later.
The engine is a 2.7 TDI BPP!

Best regards,

Hi,

The easiest way is to hover the mouse cursor over the corresponding field in the measurement blocks.
Please provide the VAG part number for the engine control unit. The corresponding label file (click on the blue-highlighted label file name) also explains how the value is calculated and what the valid ranges are.

Best regards, Rainer.

I was looking for information on the ASB (Arbeitsstättenverordnung - Workplace Regulations), but block 104 doesn't mention anything about maximum values.

Here's the value for the filter! Unfortunately, unlike many data points, a value hasn't been assigned here.

Hello,

I think your oil ash volume is displayed in liters. It's probably normal to see 0.25 liters at 150,000 km.

I haven't found a precise "threshold" at which a replacement is necessary. However, cleaning the DPF every 150,000 km (approximately 93,000 miles) can't hurt, as it can help reduce exhaust backpressure and, consequently, improve fuel consumption.

Best regards, Rainer.

If I remember correctly, according to the original specifications, the limit is 0.2 liters.

Ah ok 0.2-0.25 ist doch schonmal eine Hausnummer! "Thank you!"
What do you mean by "verschandeln it at 150,000 km"?
Forced regeneration, or new? What do you think?

Best regards,
