Could someone perhaps tell me what type of battery (original specifications) is needed for a 1994 Golf 3 TDI with engine code MBK 1Z? My current battery is defective, and it's not the original one anymore.

If it doesn't have any special features, it's 61Ah.

However, there were also larger (in my opinion, especially regarding climate, etc.).
