I'm sorry, but I can't understand anything from your last paragraph.
But I might have another thought on that.
What actually happens when I'm driving downhill and take my foot off the accelerator, while the gear is still engaged? Does the pre-lift pump in the tank temporarily shut off, or does it continue to run? The fuel consumption display then shows a value of 0000.
It's possible that the pre-lift pump could stop working and then fail to restart.
The engine would stall, and there would be a fuel shortage in the line.
The result would be that the organ would remain unusable until the restart.
I cannot detect any leaks in the supply and return piping system, as all the pipes that I can see are clean and dry.
