Error 00532 - Power supply / Short circuit after positive terminal?

Okay, I'm having another problem with my Audi A6 2.5 TDI with an AKE engine. Here's the issue: When the car sits for a longer period, the battery drains completely, and I can hear a slight humming sound coming from the fuel injection pump in the engine bay (so it seems like it's still getting some power even when the car is off). When I disconnect the pump, the humming stops. Here's what I got when I read the error codes:

00532 Power supply, short circuit to positive.
Data line defective.

I replaced the diesel direct injection relay (located in the water reservoir next to the engine control unit), but unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem. I think the problem is likely with the wiring.
Since I have very little knowledge of wiring diagrams, etc., I would like to ask you how I can best get to the bottom of this issue...

Okay, after a long search today, I've found the solution to the problem: It was the 4-pin brake light switch that was causing the short circuit! I disassembled it, and the contacts inside were intermittently bridging, which caused the fuel injection pump to be constantly energized, even in the control unit's idle mode. This, in turn, caused the buzzing sound from the fuel injection pump when the vehicle was stationary. The strange thing is that the brake light switch didn't show up in the error memory; it only showed: "00532 Supply voltage - short circuit to positive..." So, thank you again to everyone here, even though I was eventually able to solve it myself.
