Golf III Climatronic. Fan for temperature sensor.

Hello.
Can someone tell me how to remove the fan for the temperature sensor in a Golf III with Climatronic?
I want to verschandeln it because it's making annoying noises. Has anyone replaced the fan yet?

The radio is on, and the blinders are already out on both sides. I've already removed those 4 screws.

I can already pull the central exhaust port forward a few centimeters, but it's still stuck somewhere.
How do I get it out without causing damage?

The two hidden screws are located behind the air vents, which need to be carefully removed from the side to access the screws.

Hmm, I don't quite understand that.
I've already removed the ventilation grilles and the two screws behind them.

Where are the others located on the sides?

Are the screws on the right side of the instrument cluster also removed?

It seems like there might still be an issue with the cables or connectors.
What all do I need to connect?

Use a small mirror to help you see where things are attached or whether a screw is still tight!

Thanks for the tip. After removing the speedometer, I was able to see the connectors clearly with a lot of light and a mirror. The cables are really very short. You definitely need to unplug the connectors before you can remove the ITR unit completely.

I cleaned the fan, and tomorrow I'll check to see if it's quiet again...

The fan is quiet again; it had quite a bit of dirt on it after 15 years .
