Heizelement Klima ??
The engine is warm enough after 30km, and the temperature regulator is always set to 22°C when I start the measurement.
I thought that this question might come up. According to the user manual, the heating element is not active with this setting.
The temperature sensors show no anomalies. I have an older version of VAGCOM.
By the way, I have a 5-speed manual transmission, a manual climate control system, 195/65R15 Michelin winter tires, and I am really trying to drive as economically as possible. DPF Ash Mass = 39g.
I believe that they have significantly reduced the cold start phase.
I would definitely install this immediately.

Nope!
Not in engine construction.

And, of course, it also met EU4 standards and had an active DPF as well.
Because in EU4, post-treatment of exhaust gases (especially the AGR for NOx reduction) is very important. This could be a reason for the increased fuel consumption, as the AGR requires a corresponding temperature range. This is partially achieved through additional fuel. The DPF handles the rest.... Well... at -5 degrees and with very economical driving (e.g., on flat terrain), it is definitely NOT.
And don't rely on the "lies" indicator in the speedometer

@ Dieselmartin,
The stated fuel consumption is calculated. Please maintain a mileage log for years. The fuel consumption display on the BC was constantly showing about 10% less than the actual consumption, and the calculated average consumption was always higher.
I had the dealer correct the advertisement, and now the computer is approximately correct.
Do not use thick tires, 195/65 from Conti.
Because nothing unusual was found, I have to accept the increased consumption.
I re-read the fault codes again before starting the journey, and checked the temperature... everything was normal... unfortunately... or fortunately.

That's exactly why we are concluding this now.
If it were an isolated case, one would have to consider it -- but it is not, but it is normal.
If the consumer's usage does not return to normal levels with rising outdoor temperatures, we will investigate further. LG, Onkel BM
