10 Cent Tuning: Simple Car Performance Boost

Hello everyone, I'm new here and still getting acquainted with things. That's why I have these questions: How does the "10 cent tuning method" work?
Can this be used to increase the boost pressure by 0.01 - 0.15 bar, as I requested?
It's a standard T3 bus, modified by myself, with an AFN engine and chip, a 4.14 differential, and a 0.69 fifth-gear ratio. Depending on the tires, it reaches 44 km/h per 1000 RPM and is a lot of fun to drive.
