Hello, now that the warranty has expired, the problems are starting to appear.
Passat Blue TDI, manufactured in 2009.
I drove to work in the morning, and then I received a message saying "Check AdBlue, 1050km remaining."
The next day, she was gone again, and then she reappeared on the 3rd.
I refilled the AdBlue in the summer.
According to what I've read in forums, the pump needs to be replaced.
"Even the NOx sensor and control units were replaced as a precaution, etc."
Has anyone had any experience with this? Or is it still possible to repair or inspect something?
Is Bosch service competent enough, or is "Freundliche" (a presumably local competitor) a better option?
I inquired directly with the VW dealer, but they need to consult with their technical department because they haven't encountered any AdBlue issues before.
Regards,
Chris.
