Thermostat

Hello,
Since yesterday, I'm having trouble getting my TDI 1Z engine to reach the correct temperature. After driving for 15 km, the water and oil temperatures are only around 80°C, and that's at an outside temperature of 20°C.

I suspect my thermostat is faulty, or it might just be malfunctioning.

What do you think?

hatte ich auch schon mal (war sogar auch ein 1Z (in einem Audi A4)).
War damals der Thermostat. Vergiss beim wechseln den Runddichtring vom Gehäuse nicht.

Also meiner, ist zwar ein 2er TD, ist auch erst nach 12km richtig
warm, und das heisst bei mir 80°C Öltemperatur.
Da geht der nuir drüber, wenn ich richtig trete.
Und Thermostat ist in Ordnung, da erst vor kurzem gewechselt.

The water temperature was always around 90° when the outside temperature was around 20° and we had traveled about 6-7 km. The oil temperature was around 70° under normal driving conditions.

Currently, the water temperature decreases to around 90° after approximately 12 km at a moderate speed. The oil temperature also increases, so that both temperatures become warmer simultaneously.


Bought a thermostat today for 12.25 € with O-ring.
