Hello,
After I replaced the downpipe, my tractor is still making a rattling noise. Then I read the error codes with VCDS, and it showed an error for the N108 solenoid valve.
He's very loud, making metallic noises when accelerating or adjusting the fuel mixture. He has no, or very limited, power.
Here is my actual question to you regarding the solenoid valve:
My Bosch solenoid valve, part number 0281002136, has been read. My fuel injection pump is a VW 028 130 110 H, Bosch part number 460 404 985.
I have a solenoid valve from a 1999 Sharan with a 110 hp 1.9 TDI engine, and it has a 10-pin connector.
Bosch solenoid valve, part number 0281002187, read from the device. Electric fuel pump, VW, part number 028 130 115B; Bosch, part number 0 460 404 968.
Are the solenoid valves compatible?
Not yet expanded. Based on the form, I would say. Aside from the electrical sockets (which need to be resoldered).
"Can I install the solenoid valve from the 110 HP engine (part number 0281002187) into my (1Z engine) fuel injection pump? Has anyone done this conversion before? According to the Bosch catalog, the production of my solenoid valve (Bosch part number 0281002136) was discontinued in April 2014. Are there any other Bosch part numbers available as a replacement?"
"2. What about the fuel injection pumps? Can I install the ones from the 110 HP engine with the 10-pin connector into my 1Z engine (which has an 8-pin connector)? Are they largely compatible in terms of design (e.g., 11-pin pistons, etc.)? Mine already has 420,000 km, and it's possible that I might need to replace them (I've already had to re-seal them twice)."
I would appreciate your responses, as my old car is only expected to last another six months, and after 15 years together, we will be parting ways.
