Hello everyone,
This time, I don't have any problems with my own car, but with the car of my in-laws...
In this car, the leaking ESP (due to the use of biodiesel

) was repaired by Bosch in January 2015 and then installed at a local repair shop. So, the repair is still under warranty...
I'm back home again and wanted to take the car for a test drive after the repairs. Now it doesn't smell like an old oil barrel anymore, but it still starts very modestly!
One must hold the device in either a cold or warm state for at least 3 seconds before the self-igniter will activate. Even though the engine starts up immediately after being switched off, you still need to rev it.
If he's running, everything is fine. There is no noticeable jerking or lack of performance.
Since I'm on vacation here, I naturally don't have any other measuring or testing equipment with me. Just my laptop with VCDS - and that's perfectly fine.
First, I used the TDI Timing Checker to check the injection timing. Here is everything within the 'green area', i.e., close to the blue line.
Ah yes: After a short period of inactivity, a small air bubble is always found in the transparent line of the ESP.
In the error memory, fault code 17656 (Control of spray start) was stored. I don't know, or whether it's still from the repair or is new.
I have therefore deleted it, and after ten attempts to 'restart the organ,' it still hasn't reappeared.
Due to the current health situation (need for care), the vehicle is needed every day. Therefore, attempting to advertise the problem (placing the vehicle 'on the yard' and waiting for the error to be found) is currently ruled out.
The Car:
Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI, 90 hp
MKB: AGRICULTURE
ESP: Complete overhaul of the BOSCH DIENST
Do you have a tip for me?
