Hello everyone,

Since I've just started looking into things like DPF cleaning, I believe that my DPF, which isn't showing any error codes or anything like that, is simply causing too much differential pressure and exhaust backpressure.
He's become too slow in the upper body, and that's when I noticed the high numbers.
Here's the link to the thread about standard differential pressure values where I posted.

"viewtopic.php?p=224947#224947" (This appears to be a URL, and I'm assuming you want it translated literally.)

You can find my values before and after cleaning there.

I would really appreciate it if other owners of 3.0 TDI vehicles could provide me with comparison values, so that I can either confirm my suspicion that the readings are too high or potentially find out that they are actually normal.

Thank you very much, and I hope you can help me with some benchmark values.

Regards,

Tobi[/i]

Is anyone else here with a 3.0 TDI engine?
"If you're not willing to put in the effort to create a full-load/maximum speed log, even differential pressure readings during free acceleration would be helpful."

Thank you.

Yes, indeed, here icon_wink.gif.

I might be able to do a round with the laptop sometime, but I probably won't get around to it until sometime over the weekend.

Oh, that's great!

Thank you in advance for that.

MWB 43 und 102 wären die interessanten und natürlich deine Laufleistung sowie die Aschemasse in 104. Schip or chip.

Just finished the measurement and I'm sending you the results.
compiled.

A6 Avant Quattro 3.0 TDI ASB with Tiptronic transmission.
Mileage: 214,312 km
Regeneration typically occurs every 780-840 kilometers.
Outside temperature: 17.7°C
Atmospheric pressure: 989 millibars
Oil ash volume: 0.390
Last regeneration before a 60 km journey.
Loading values before measurement:
calculated 9.5
measured 0

at idle speed:
- Differential pressure: 7 mbar.
- Exhaust back pressure: 999.6 mbar.

Danger: Full throttle in the fourth gear on a 1.5 km uphill climb with a 12% gradient, reaching up to 4800 RPM.
Maximum differential pressure: 371 mbar.
Maximum exhaust back pressure: 1764 mbar.

icon_wink.gif I hope it helps you further.

Regards, Mpire.

Hello Mpire,

"That's actually very helpful to me. Thank you so much. Even the exhaust back pressure at idle is 30 mbar for me, compared to your 10 mbar, while the differential pressure at idle is the same."
"I'm sure my values under load will be much better than yours."

Hello,

In addition to... / As a supplement to... / Furthermore...

"viewtopic.php?p=224947#224947" (This appears to be a URL, and I'm assuming you want it translated literally.)

The differential pressure is 13 mbar when the system is idling.
