Hello, for years now, whenever I'm searching for something, I always end up here on this forum via Google. I've often considered registering. Sometimes, when I read things here, I really think that I wouldn't be able to contribute anything meaningful myself.

I hope things have gradually changed and that I can make a meaningful contribution somewhere.

About me: I'm a mechanic with 10 years of experience, but I haven't worked in the industry for 5 years. However, over the past 2 years, I've increasingly become involved in diesel tuning. While not perfect, as it's one of my hobbies and I'm simply learning and enjoying it.

I personally drive an Alfa and a Smart... Why am I here? Because I actually learned everything about diesel tuning (specifically, engine mapping) from the people at Volkswagen.
Nothing has changed; I find the most knowledge among people who work at Volkswagen, which might be a coincidence, but it always seems to be the case when I'm looking for information.
