Opel Movano Water Pump: G9T Engine, 2002 Model

I hope there are some people here who know about Opel cars.

Question: For the aforementioned engine model (2.2L diesel, 90 HP), does the timing belt need to be removed as well when replacing the water pump?

I have no idea... but if the timing belt drives the water pump, that's the consequence. However, you can easily check this yourself by taking a closer look under the hood.

The timing belt doesn't need to be removed.

P.S. Don't forget to change the oil; it's unavoidable that a significant amount of coolant will leak into the oil pan.

I did some online research, and in a Renault forum, someone mentioned that the water pump needs to be removed as well.
I've taken it apart now. The water pump is located under a separate cover.

I'm actually just doing the timing belt replacement. As a result of this thread, I'll leave the old water pump where it is.
By the way, this is my first time replacing a water pump . Please keep your fingers crossed for me that I don't mess anything up }.

If I have any more questions, I'll post them here as well.

I can't find the hole where the crankshaft dowel pin goes in.
Despite the instructions
It should be located somewhere above or behind the oil filter, and a screw should be positioned in front of it .

I think I've found it. It must be the screw where the oil filter is attached. You can see it in a YouTube video.
