Hello.

My total mileage reading is significantly below 140370 km.
Therefore, I would like to know what this value means and whether the car has more kilometers on it. |
Unfortunately, I can't comment on the percentages, as I'm seeing them for the first time. Perhaps certain load conditions are involved, and someone else might know more.
Regarding the mileage, the engine control unit, for example, creates its own "mileage" by integrating the speed information, which should be roughly the same as what is displayed on the speedometer. If I remember correctly, a maximum deviation of 5% is acceptable, but in practice, it is usually less.
Most likely, the transmission control unit performs a similar function, which would be logical.
What is the difference between your displayed mileage and the actual mileage?
Best regards, Rainer.
PS: That's why I only buy new cars (imported from other countries) or cars from people I know. You wouldn't believe how often I've been asked for information about "mileage tampering" throughout my life, so I've drawn my own conclusions from the extremely high percentage of such inquiries.
