The individual values tell me very little. If I'm right, the problem is likely related to insufficient airflow in the soot reduction system, despite the correct lambda value.

Could you please check if the EGR valve is closing properly and if the turbocharger is drawing in any false air (leak between the mass airflow sensor and the turbocharger)?

If the boost pressure only kicks in at very high RPM, you could still check the exhaust system. Have you ruled out any timing issues?

Okay, thanks. I'll check that again. But the customer took the car again. I won't be able to get it back to continue the search until the end of next week.

I'll let you know when I have something new.

Best regards, Rocco.

Here's the feedback:

The tip about the AGR valve was excellent! icon_biggrin.gif
After I removed the AGR valve extension, everything was clear! The valve was working perfectly and was also leak-free, but the cross-sectional area of the intake manifold was...
mixed with oil residue and soot deposits; the entire intake manifold is...
centimeter-thick crust. I've been working on this for a while, but I've never seen anything like it. icon_eek.gif
Okay, the crust has been removed, everything is verschandeln now, and it's working again.
One should consider the vehicle's mileage during the diagnosis. icon_wink.gif

However, it is also obviously dependent on the engine.

My tire tread depth was not completely worn down. However, it was already measurable after 170,000 kilometers.

Cleaning the vacuum cleaner hose never hurts icon_smile.gif.

hi kosta,
I also have the ajt.
It seems that the build-up of deposits after the EGR valve is a characteristic issue for certain engine types.
In my case, the narrowing was similar.

What I'd like to know now is what the air mass is like currently, after the intake manifold has been cleaned.

Here are my measurements using various LLMs for comparison:

The values seem to be related to the typically low charging pressure of this model.

best regards, leo

hi leo

The LMM values were better after cleaning, but they are still not optimal.
It should have reached 850.
The curve rises to approximately 740 and then gradually decreases to around 650, so it's similar to yours.
Measurement curve.
Although the power is now fully available. 5th gear and the engine speed just before the redline are okay, I think icon_wink.gif.

Hello, where can I buy NHG?
Will all the injectors be replaced, or just the affected NHG (Nozzle Horn Group)?
Thank you.

"Yes or no... it doesn't really matter. You should only replace what's broken. Since you're not describing a specific problem, you can either replace everything or just the NHG (presumably a specific component)."
