Convert ASZ air mass sensor to AJM wiring harness

I'm reaching out to diesel mechanics because I'm stuck with my VW. I'm currently rebuilding an ASZ engine. According to the VW wiring diagrams for the Golf 4 ASZ and Golf 4 AJM, the connections and pin assignments are identical. However, what VW doesn't say is whether the engine control unit (ECU) can handle the signals from the ASZ's mass airflow sensor (MAF). The difference is that the AJM uses a bypass MAF (VW OE part number: 06A 906 461 X, Bosch part number: 0 281 002 757), while the ASZ measures the entire airflow (full diameter) (VW OE part number: 071 906 461 A, Bosch part number: 0 280 217 529). While there is also a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor with a bypass for VW vehicles with ASZ engines manufactured from 2002 onwards, with VW OE part numbers 074906461B or BX, or Bosch OE part number 0 281 002 461.
Could you help with that using your knowledge, or does anyone have any information?
Have you ever experienced this problem before?
The context is the complete acquisition of both the suction and pressure sides of the ASZ engine.

You'll have to adjust the signal processing in the engine control unit, or have it adjusted, if the values are significantly off.

Hello, thank you for the quick response. Can I read and adjust these values using VCDS, or is a programmer required for this?
The engine should also be upgraded with more power. Can this be taken care of at the same time?
