MQ250 Letter Codes and Translations (Alternatives for MLU)

Hi,

I am looking for translations of the MQ250 5-speed gearbox, with the identification code MLU, for a Caddy 3 1.6 TDI BlueMotion.

In the aforementioned Caddy, a bearing is likely defective to the extent that further repairs are not economically viable (rolling elements found in the oil ).

"Now I've found a new one at the auction house for 1200,-, and it's supposed to be compatible with the 1.6 TDI." However, it has the license plate code LUB instead of MLU.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a comprehensive list of translations anywhere.
