Hello everyone,
This forum has helped me immensely many times, thank you all.
But now I need help, I don't know where to start, so much has been changed.

I completely overhauled the engine about 20,000 km ago, and everything is in perfect condition.

About 4 weeks ago, while accelerating from a junction into 3rd gear, I experienced a brief jerk, followed by a stall, engine shut off, and then restarting. The error was gone. Home reading revealed:

Fuel High Pressure: Target Value: 1379300 hPa

Fuel supply: 25.0 l

The error now occurs consistently when accelerating from the 2nd gear. Engine speed fluctuating between approximately 2500 and 3000 RPM, with noticeable jerking. Subsequently, the engine fails to respond to acceleration. "KI" error, then the engine goes into "fail-safe" mode, and the clutch needs to be depressed to allow the engine to continue running normally, which makes driving impossible!

Verified so far: (Rep. Guide VW)
- Low-pressure fuel OK (G6 pressure 0.6 Bar / 0.40 Bar - Delivery volume 1200 ml, power consumption, as well as pre-feed pump 5.0 Bar, 650ml in 30 seconds)
- New cartridge filter
-Fuel return line to tank is clear
-Return line with pressure relief valve replaced by injectors
-Original print sensor replaced
-Replacement of the Bosch pressure regulation valve on the rail
-High-pressure pump does not remove debris, submerged (I still have a good one) - user error
Getting the injectors from Bosch service overhauled also doesn't work!

I might be missing something.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,

High rail pressure is already better than low pressure (usually due to worn-out pump, leaks, or faulty injectors). icon_biggrin.gif

Quote:
-Print sensor, original replacement
-Replacement of the Bosch pressure regulation valve on the rail

Would my approach, "How to reduce rail adhesion, with or without electrification?" be correct?

If that happens, I could imagine that the engine might stall and the line to the sensor/valve might rub somewhere or have a cable break.

Edit: It appears that the control valve is unpowered and closed, meaning that a cable break that only occurs when the engine is tilted (accelerating) would increase the rail pressure.

Best regards, Rainer

...also auch die Rücklaufleitungen auf Verschlüsse/Verstopfungen überprüfen. Wenn nötig, sind sie gebogen? Is there perhaps still a (defective) check valve/backflow preventer or something similar in the lines?
