Boost Pressure Behavior: Strange or Normal?

Hello everyone.
I have now finished my OBD adapter and logged some data yesterday, resulting in the following boost pressure curve:

The duty cycle decreased to a maximum of approximately 75%.
The engine is an ATJ and it's installed in a Passat manufactured in the year 2000.

Is this 'overshoot' behavior, which is quite significant, considered normal? And why does the setpoint go up to 2295? Shouldn't it be a maximum of 2150?

Here's the translation:

'Additional question: How does the control unit obtain the torque information? How reliable is this display?'

"About 10% overboost is fine; I wouldn't worry about it. What would be interesting to know is the exact type of turbocharger used. Is your engine a 100 HP PD-TDI?"

Hi Rainer,
It's a Passat 3B Variant (also known as VTG), with a 115 hp PD ATJ engine producing 310 (or possibly 320) Nm of torque and a 5-speed manual transmission, featuring a VTG turbocharger.

I'm bumping this thread again, maybe someone else has something to say about it.
