I'm not sure if it's the right fit, but if it doesn't have an EGR valve, you can still block off the outlet on the exhaust manifold with a piece of metal.

I claim YES. But what good will that do? The AAZ turbocharger is fine; it provides early boost and doesn't immediately fail even at 1.4 bar (I just confirmed this this morning on a highway incline ). The AFN manifold with the VTG turbocharger would certainly offer improvements, but then there's the problem with the load- and speed-dependent control of the guide vane adjustment.

The 1Y (naturally aspirated) and the AAZ engines are virtually identical except for minor details (e.g., the lack of a connection for turbo oil return); both have a compression ratio of around 1:22.5. You can safely install a turbocharger on it, even with 1.2 bar of boost pressure (with appropriate cooling)."
