Hi everyone!
Looking for a wiring diagram for the web-based immobilizer system in a Volkswagen Passat.
What happens if I disable part of the immobilizer system in my Passat?
which connects to the ignition switch?

Thank you for the information, but unfortunately, it doesn't really help me.
Does the device throw an error if I disconnect (interrupt) the reading coil?

Without the reading head, the WFS (likely referring to a specific system or device) will not function and will lock the MSG (likely another system or component). It is therefore impossible to start it in this state.
After reconnecting the coil, everything should work again. Ideally, the error should be stored as soon as you try to start it. However, it seems to disappear after about 50 starts.
Could you please tell me why you want to know this/what you're trying to achieve by disconnecting the coil (permanently or temporarily)? Perhaps then someone will be able to guess what you're aiming for and give you the appropriate answer.
Regards,
Private.

And the alarm system can be triggered. Such a system already exists, but it costs a whopping âŹ550. Why buy it when I can build it myself?

Hello Mr. Ferien,
Here's a suggestion: If someone wants to steal the box, they'll either come with a tow truck or with an engine control unit for your car.
So, if you only block the already blocked WFS (Web Feature Service), a "swap engine control unit" might not be very interested in that.
It might be better to hide a solenoid valve for fuel supply/cutoff or short-circuit the signal from the throttle position sensor in the ESP system, or something else that isn't easily bypassed like a "standard" security measure.
Best regards, Rainer.

Steering angle sensor signal in the ESC
Can you please explain to me exactly what you mean and how I should do that?
You are right about the immobilizer; if he were to modify the control unit!
But before that happens, the car will be long gone *gggg*.

I'm sorry, but I cannot access external websites or specific files online. Therefore, I am unable to translate the text from the provided URL.
However, a hidden solenoid valve/relay or similar device would be more versatile... |

Actually, it should be quite simple to achieve this using a solenoid valve by blocking the fuel supply to the injection pump or disabling the starter motor with a corresponding relay.
If I block the starter, I have the problem that I need a relay that can handle the current.
If I block the diesel supply using a magnetic relay, the engine won't run and will no longer function!
