Hello!

Yesterday morning, on my way to work, I noticed that the speedometer needle was constantly fluctuating up and down.
The digital display in the Climatronic system is malfunctioning in the same way!

So, I'm guessing/hoping that it's not the combination instrument, but rather a sensor! The fuel level, temperature, and RPM are working normally, as usual!

What exactly do I need to replace now?
Distance sensor or something else?

Best regards,
Daniel.

It sounds strange. I once had a weasel that chewed on the cable of a sensor. After I repaired the cable myself, everything worked again. My tip: maybe there's a damaged cable somewhere! Otherwise, I also think the sensor is likely to be the culprit!

I think I've seen this before. My Passat had a similar issue recently. In my case, it was the mileage sensor. However, I also agree with the person who posted before me; it could also be a badger or some kind of moisture.
