Hello everyone,

After standing for 4 days, my Octavia started perfectly this afternoon, aside from the starter motor noise that was already discussed in another thread. However, after about 100 meters of driving, the engine was only running on 3 cylinders. After about two minutes of idling and another 500 meters, the problem disappeared.

Could it be that an injector valve sometimes fails to open? How do worn-out injector valves manifest themselves?

Well, maybe there was just an air bubble that made its way from the fuel system into the high-pressure line of a cylinder.
After the line was bled again after a short time, the engine ran perfectly again.

Jo, das klingt logisch. Am Auspuff war auch alles normal, so daß Kraftstoffmangel sehr wahrscheinlich ist. Auf die Idee mit der Luftblase war ich nicht gekommen. Danke. icon_smile.gif
