Hello,

I have an aftermarket chip installed in my VW Bus T3 (also known as the 'brick' icon_biggrin.gif). I have an appointment on Monday for a dyno test, so a preliminary test would be very helpful.
Unfortunately, I don't have Excel (I only have the Excel viewer icon_sad.gif). Does anyone want to type the data in for me? I would be very grateful.
The data:
Transmission: 1st gear 3.36, 2nd gear 2.05, 3rd gear 1.38, 4th gear 0.96, 5th gear 0.76, Axle ratio 3.89.
Tire size: 225/75 R15 = 2257 mm rolling circumference.
The car weighs approximately 1800-1850 kg, has a drag coefficient (Cw) of 0.44, and a frontal area of 3.1 m².
The time it took to decelerate from 80 km/h to 70 km/h was approximately 9 seconds.
2000 RPM to 4000 RPM in 3rd gear corresponds roughly to 50 km/h to 100 km/h.
The average time from 6 measurements was 8.54 seconds.
The car has now driven over 600km in city traffic. On Monday, I'll first take it onto the highway, and hopefully, it will run better then.
I'm hoping for over 130 horsepower... Can someone please help me? On Monday, I will also get a printout from the dynamometer icon_wink.gif.

Thank you.

Maciek.

It replaces the entire MS package (including Excel) ... but at a much, much lower price icon_wink.gif.

Thank you. I also found a free software called '602PC Suite' that can read Excel files. I'm getting around 132 horsepower. Let's see what the dynamometer says. It would be an interesting comparison. I might be able to get it on a dynamometer at a university at the end of July. I'm curious to see if there are any differences.

See you later.

Maciek.
