I recently got a Bora TDI PD, manufactured in 05/99, and I've already had more problems with it than I did with my old Golf 3 TD.
I'd like to ask if anyone has experience with VW's goodwill policy and what kind of compensation you can get for a defective turbocharger. According to the diagnosis, I have a 'sporadic boost pressure regulation difference,' which means that when I'm driving in 6th gear with full throttle and then briefly release the accelerator and immediately press it down again, the car goes into limp mode.
'I had a diagnostic tool connected just before the error occurred, and the boost pressure was at 2560 mbar and remained there until the emergency mode kicked in. I suspect that the variable turbine geometry (VTG) adjustment is stuck.'
Der Luftmassenmesser ist auch schon im Arsch gewesen und wurde gewechselt.
