Hello everyone,

I have already reported about my problem twice. I have now replaced the boost pressure solenoid valve, as you suggested. Regarding the loss of power at higher RPMs and the subsequent 'limp home' mode, this was a complete success. This error is now gone. 100 points. Although the solenoid valve was electrically okay, the valve function itself was defective. Thank you again for this tip.
Okay, but the problem persists. I was a bit too optimistic earlier. The performance is still severely lacking. It feels like driving a car with a naturally aspirated engine, although even that would run better. I was at a loss. I disconnected the mass airflow sensor (MAF) connector, and the power returned. I had previously measured the voltage at the MAF sensor, as reported before, and it was okay. I'm currently driving without the MAF sensor, and the car isn't running too badly. I'm completely confused because, without the MAF sensor, the car should be running much worse. As soon as I plug the LMM connector back in, the performance is poor.
'Question for you all: Could the LMM (likely mass measurement) be defective in this case?' That's quite strange behavior.

Best regards, Franz.

Well...

Faulty mass airflow sensors often provide a lower airflow reading to the engine control unit (ECU) than what is expected in limp-home mode. Therefore, it is quite possible that your mass airflow sensor is defective. At least you performed the classic test for a faulty MAF sensor by disconnecting it and seeing if the engine ran better.
That, of course, contradicts your measurement of the voltage.

Try searching in this forum; I started a thread about how to jumper the MAF sensor connector so that it constantly outputs the maximum airflow signal. If the performance then increases again, this can serve as an indication that everything is now okay with your engine.

Best regards, Georg.
