Hi.

I was just looking at some logs and found these lines:

Far right is the Russian border (minus) (minimum of the E-set) - so, if the value is zero, the Russian border has been reached.

Should I remove the LMM (mass airflow sensor), use brake cleaner, or "install" Ulf's 22kOhm patch?

What do you think?

Why does the torque limit decrease after 4000 RPM? Is this a "soft limit"?

Okay, assuming a high-density charge air path, a functioning boost pressure control system, and a working wastegate, it seems like the problem might be the mass airflow sensor (MAF). You could try cleaning the old Pieburg MAF sensor with brake cleaner to see if that helps. Otherwise, for safety, I would recommend installing a diode as a temporary replacement for the MAF sensor.

A faulty oxygen sensor might cause issues during the emissions test on the 1Z engine.
She definitely did it with me.

What problems occurred?

You can actually put the defective mass airflow sensor icon_cool.gif back into operation.

I just got the AU (technical inspection) and the HU (general inspection) very recently.

That means I now have 2 years of crafting freedom icon_cool.gif.

P.S.: I've tried the diode trick once, on an Ibiza 6K GP01 ASV, and it didn't work. It started misfiring so badly at idle that we turned it off after just 2 seconds.

A new diode might potentially cause issues during the exhaust test on the 1Z!
She definitely did it with me.

I cannot confirm that. It is important, of course, that the AGR does not function at 100% (!!!). icon_wink.gif

Well, with the diode, the exhaust gas value was 4.0, and with the new mass airflow sensor, it was 1.7. The limit here in Denmark is 3.0.
The AGR was and is sealed with metal.
