The outlet from the compressor housing is completely different than on the vnt15. It's a proper fitting into which a counterpart fits, guided by a protrusion. On the 15, there was only a rubber tube there. It's now very difficult to explain. I'll see if I can take some photos of it if you're really interested .

Hi Arne,
As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't really matter to me - I'll keep my charger for now.
At most, if he were to fail (hopefully not!!), I would consider getting a 17-inch [screen/tire/etc.]... Gruß Ulf

Okay.
I've unfortunately sold my Corrado... it was in an accident. Someone rear-ended me, and even the C-pillar was bent.
Of course, I've remained loyal to the TDI. And of course, to the VP TDI ))) and naturally to the AFN. Those magical three letters. I now have an A6. Sedan. It's not registered yet. But on the way home (with temporary license plates), I realized just how much of a rocket my Corrado was. ... although an A6 is also meant for traveling and cruising, not for speeding.
According to a friend, the turbo from a 115 engine was installed on that vehicle. It has a large intercooler, which I've already confirmed.
Let's see...
best regards,
arne

Oh dear... Were there any injuries, or was it just property damage?

Approximately half of the difference is likely due to the weight alone...
Good luck with the new . Gruß Ulf

Thankfully, it was only minor damage to the metal bodywork.
Yes, of course. The letter states that the A6 weighs 1505 kg. However, the Corrado actually weighed 1150 kg (without a driver).
Let's see if the A6 is as reliable and fuel-efficient as the Corrado.

Hello,
For those who want to upgrade their air filter intake (AFN) from a 15er to a GT1749VA turbo on a Golf 3, there's a cheaper hose available than the ones listed in most guides. It costs €23.20 + 16% VAT and fits perfectly onto the original aluminum pipe leading to the intercooler if you simply shorten it on one side. The part number is '1J0 145 828 AD'.
