AAZ Engine: Different Cylinder Heads Than 1.6JR?

Hello, I want to convert my Golf 1.6 TD to the AAZ engine and I've finally found a suitable cylinder head for the 1.9-liter block, which was supposedly professionally rebuilt privately, including new swirl chambers. I once read that the 1.9-liter engine has larger injector ports in the combustion chambers than the 1.6-liter engine, but the new cylinder head I found has ports that are the same size.
Does anyone know if there are actually differences, and if so, how might these differences affect the running behavior?
