AFN: Emergency Mode Activated

'I've been experiencing a recurring issue over the past few days where the system enters emergency mode (which is clearly visible on the MFA's current power consumption display). When I read the error logs, it showed:'
00575 Intake Manifold Pressure
17-10 Control difference, intermittent.

Now the question... how does he know that? Obviously, the boost pressure is being compared to something .
I've already checked the cables (for the combined pressure/temperature sensor).

Vehicle: Passat Variant, engine code AFN, manufactured in 1998.

In German, your error is likely called "intermittent boost pressure differential."

If it leads to an emergency shutdown, the pressure is usually too high.
The cause is often a jammed VTG mechanism (see entry in the error database).
It could also be due to clogged or leaky control hoses, or a defect in the boost pressure solenoid valve...

So, the value to be set (theoretically calculated) is compared with the value achieved .
Then I guess I'll have to check the adjustment.
