Fuel Injectors: Different Prices with Needle Lift Control?

Today, I had a chance to look at the AKTE price list and found two different prices for the fuel injector with the needle lift adjuster for the Audi A6 C4 2.5 TDI: one for 180 euros and one for 445 euros (it's definitely the one with the needle lift adjuster, and there were also two prices for the other injectors, but I don't remember the exact prices). Is the cheaper price available as a used part, or what's the explanation for the difference?

The same thing happened with my Golf. The cheaper option is the exchange price, and the more expensive one is the purchase price.
I also paid around 180 euros.

Maybe they have something like that at Bosch?
I have no idea.
Have them checked before you buy a new one. There might be something else broken.

Don't think anything else is broken. I've already done the test for the injector control valve (lightly tapping the injector with a hammer at 3000 rpm, and the engine starts to stutter). The airflow sensor, unlike the mass airflow sensor, never seems to break, and I haven't found anything mechanically wrong either. I don't really like going to the VAG workshop anyway, because just opening the hood costs 20 euros there...

You can identify the replacement parts by the "X" that appears after the version letter (or the number if there is no version letter).
Try to get the parts from Bosch; they also have a replacement parts service and are likely cheaper than the "specialized dealer."

Yes, exactly, there was an "X" marked on the AKTE system. Thanks again for the information. I'll probably get the parts from Bosch or Beru, I assume I can find them in any decent auto parts store.

I have now inquired with Bosch and Beru, and they offer the fuel injector with needle lift sensor at a lower price than Audi (both with a list price of 145 euros).

Does the specified spare part number match the A6 model with the AEL engine?

Bosch: 0986 430 282
Beru: DHD212

Are both parts of equal quality? How about the service and warranty for both parts, is one better than the other?

The Bosch part number should be for the AEL engine, while for the AAT engine, it is: [insert part number here].
0 986 430 281

(both with NBF)

I have no idea about Beru.
