Model: A4
KW & PS: 81
MKB & GKB: AFN
Year of construction: 1998.
Hello,
Can anyone provide me with information, or preferably wiring diagrams, regarding the immobilizer control units used in vehicles equipped with the MBK AFN and AVF engines?
I'm in the process of installing a VW Passat PD engine (AVF) into an Audi A4 from 1998, which originally had an AFN engine.
How can I adjust the two immobilizers?
We have combined the engine wiring harness of the AVF engine with the wiring harness of the AFN engine, but we lack the diagnostic connection to access the engine control unit of the AVF engine using a diagnostic tool (there is one cable for the AFN, but two for the AVF). Can anyone help me?
How can I read the engine control unit (ECU) to change the immobilizer settings, or how can I bypass the immobilizer so that it is disabled but I can still start the engine?
Thank you very much in advance.
I would be grateful for any advice.

Hi,
It's likely that only someone to whom you can present corresponding proof of ownership can help you with your problem.
I didn't think anyone would write something like: 'This is how I bypass the immobilizer...'
Regards,
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

Hello,
'I have one, I bought the engine from a car recycling company with a receipt.'
Best regards,
