Hello everyone,
"Does anyone else experience the problem of not being able to connect to the adaptation process? I've heard that not all channels can be accessed depending on the control unit (ECU) installed, but in my case, nothing works at all. As soon as I start a login attempt with the code 12233, the entire communication with the ECU fails: no response."
By the way, I have the USB professional version of Rainer's software from this shop.
All other functions are working (at least, as far as is known or has been mentioned before).
Best regards,
Thomas. Audi A4 Avant 2,0 l TDI (MKB = BRD) Baujahr 01/2007

I had similar problems with the WFS control unit (/viewtopic.php?t=6743).
Have you experimented with the communication parameters yet?
With the engine running or turned off?

Hello,
The communication parameters should be independent of the HEX interfaces.
Do you use the current 409.1 VAG-COM version, or an older one?
Let's see what Uwe has to say. Perhaps the STG system simply doesn't allow logins with the "12233" format.
How does the system react to a fictional login attempt, for example, using the password "11111"?
Best regards, Rainer.

If an incorrect login is entered, or a login that is not accepted, the entire connection is lost.
The described situation is therefore quite normal.
The login code 12233 typically only works with 4-cylinder 1.9L TDI engines; different login codes apply to 5-cylinder TDI engines.

Hello,
I am using release 409.1 US with the professional USB adapter.
Does anyone have the login codes for the 5-cylinder TDI? On the other hand, I've often read posts in this forum that worked with the code 12233, which is the one I'm using.
@Rainer
I'm going to try that out using a fictional login.

Sure? Even with 5-cylinder TDI engines?

Hello everyone,
I'm having the exact same problem...
Engine: AEL, use the adapter from our online shop (Professional EOBD/OBD2 diagnostic KKL (USB)).
After logging in with the code 12233, the connection to the engine control unit (ECU) is lost. The ECU only becomes responsive again after the ignition is switched off. (The same behavior occurs with any other number combination.)
I would like to increase the initial fuel quantity due to the very poor cold start performance.
The adapter seems to be working, but I suspect the problem lies with the login.
Does anyone know the correct login now?
Thank you all!
Tobbi.

Ha, at least someone else is experiencing the same thing (please don't take that seriously), so I'm not completely stupid.
Well, as they say, shared sorrow is half a sorrow, but that doesn't really help us. All we can do is hope that someone else knows a different login code...

I would recommend asking somewhere on this forum.
