Tiptronic: Soft Coding Without Value?

Hi there,

I have a Tiptronic GKB FST manufactured in September 2001. When using VAG-COM, no value is displayed for the soft coding. Is this normal? Can VAG-COM not read this, or is there an error?

"By the way: Can anyone confirm the engine control unit coding for an ATD with an FST Tiptronic transmission?"

Here's the translation:

"Also, what's the probability of the mileage being incorrect if the shop's instrument panel displays '00000' but the rest of the text indicates '02000'?"

I found something online using Google that suggests there are options like that available (a Tiptronic without coding).

The coding is fine because the Tiptronic transmission has no influence on the coding process during the ATD (Automatic Transmission Diagnosis) procedure.

Okay, the first thing that comes to mind is to test a new software version.

311.x is already considered 'out of date'.

Just come by and take a look; everything is available in its current version. Then you should be able to find the error.
Besides, I'm still looking for a way to test some label files live.
