REMSA Brake Pads: Reviews & Experience

Dear fellow enthusiasts,

I bought slotted Zimmermann brake discs for my A4. Unfortunately (or thankfully), I bought them as a set with a pair of brake pads of the type 'REMSA ProTecno 3.0'.
In the test conducted by 'AUTO Straßenverkehr' in July 2003, the REMSA brake pads were severely criticized! However, it appears that the test was based on an older model; it was not the 'ProTecno 3.0' type.
Are the 'REMSA ProTecno 3.0' brake pads now better, and possibly as good as the original brake pads/Ferodo/Lucas, or is it still not 'the best' ???

BTW, I haven't installed the brake pads/discs yet...
