hi,

'Could you briefly explain the difference between these turbos?'

I keep hearing about VNT-17 and VNT-15. Apparently, VNT-17 is supposed to...
as a tuning amplifier (of course, with adjustments, etc.) for the VNT-15.
'It's supposed to be used in the field... but I've never seen a VNT-17 anywhere.'
or what they read, etc.

Is a GT15V43 a VNT-15, and is a GT15V49 a VNT-17?

Who knows about this?

Sure, here's the translation:

'thx' translates to 'thanks' in English.

chris

Hi,

The VAG VNT 15 is the same turbocharger as the Garrett VNT 17.

Best regards, Holger.
