Used TDI Buying Guide: Tips & Tricks

Ich werde morgen einen Passat TDI Bj. 1995 mit 172000 km probefahren und möchte wissen, worauf man motorentechnisch zusätzlich zu den Tips & Tricks zum Gebrauchtwagenkauf auf dieser Seite noch achten sollte, um nicht die "Katze im Sack" zu kaufen. Bei den alten TD-Motoren konnte man zum Beispiel beim Öffnen des Öleinfüllstutzens bei laufendem Motor an der austretenden Abgasmenge erkennen, wie gut noch Kolbenringe+Kopfdichtung intakt sind......(auch beim TDI)? Thank you for the additional tips!! I got the Passat at a relatively good price..................but unfortunately, it has the TDI jerking issue that is frequently discussed in the forum. Well, then you can expect to see some more posts from me here .
