Hello everyone.

I want to have my AHF engine (manufactured in 199[...]) tuned, which is currently installed in my T3. I'm not sure whether to get it chipped or tuned via OBD. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good place to do this? I would like to achieve around 150 horsepower.
The transmission is not an issue because it's equipped with a G50.

I haven't had any success with my search so far because everyone seems to only offer tuning for PD engines or AFN engines.

Best regards, Mike.

Anyone who modifies a Volkswagen Golf 4 with a 110 horsepower engine.

Because this is no longer an acute hemolytic transfusion reaction!
It could possibly already be an ASV.

A colleague has an Ibiza ASV with a measured 143 horsepower, achieved through modifications.

m;

*** offers 132 hp specifically for the AHF.
******** 140 hp (without mentioning the specific engine code).

The engine is from a 1998 Bora and it's an AHF type.
Is there perhaps a way to do this individually via OBD?
140 horsepower is still a bit too low for me.
What other options would I have in that situation?
Where did your colleague get that box from?
What about VW Motorsport?

Regards, Mike.

P.S. Sorry for all the questions.

Oh.

Your many "?" probably mean that you didn't understand my mistake icon_smile.gif.

Correct: Because that's no longer an AFN!

The box was already installed in the car when he bought it from someone in Luxembourg. He has no idea where it came from. But measured 117 horsepower increasing to measured 143 horsepower is a 22% increase - you can achieve that yourself with even a very basic, inexpensive tuning icon_smile.gif.

Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation.

You're welcome, Dieselmartin.

I just called ********, and they want €749 for a chip tuning module, including performance measurement, but without TÜV certification icon_evil.gif.
Now, I'm going to look for that '10-cent' guide. Yes, where is it icon_wink.gif?

Okay, he then said that it's possible to connect two turbochargers in parallel to get more boost at low RPM. So, not a cascaded setup like on the BMW. I'm just wondering how one would even implement something like that. The control unit will definitely throw an error (regulation difference...), without proper calibration.
Regards,
Mike.
