Hello everyone,

I took a whole day off today because of my HDP, which is always causing problems.
I tried it and I have to say, the instructions for the MSW are totally great!!!!
I've only driven another 50km, but so far, I haven't been able to detect anything else.
Now I've looked at some things again to help me get unstuck, and I think I've made a mistake somewhere.

The MSW (Motor Speed Sensor) provides a voltage of 0.740V when the motor is at standstill.
The injection amount is logically 0.0 mg.

At idle speed, the MSW voltage is 1.640V.
The injection volume is 4.8 mg.

If I adjust the fuel pump now, the fuel injection amount fluctuates, sometimes high and sometimes low, but the synchronization also changes, which in turn affects the voltage!

Is there a specific, defined value that I need to reach when the ignition is turned on?
What fuel injection volume should I expect at full load, and what MSW voltage will I get?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Ahhhh, sorry, it's a 1.9 TDI AFN engine, with 190,000 km, in a Seat Ibiza.

Yes, and?

The MSG regulates the LL speed with priority 1, determines the required MSW value to achieve this, and assigns an injection quantity from the pump voltage characteristic curve to this (RWG) voltage value – although this value may not be correct.

Because, for example, if used once with 3 mg and once with 7 mg (examples), it is guaranteed that no TDI (with the same load) would maintain the low-load engine speed unchanged...

Check the setpoints here (RWG, lower limit or something similar).

This is speed-dependent, and the question cannot be answered without more information.
