Hello everyone!

I tested it out with my A3. The GT1749V turbocharger already produces a quite significant pressure difference at 903 RPM (idle speed).

TV 99.9%: 989 mbar.
TV 24/7: 1040 mbar.

It's a shame that VAG-COM doesn't automatically switch between the two key ratios.

Hello fellow mechanics!

I checked my turbo using a diagnostic tool, and I noticed that the boost pressure increases very slowly in the lower RPM range. I don't reach full boost pressure until 2500 RPM. Consequently, the duty cycle is also low.
Actually, the boost pressure regulator shouldn't have any malfunctions because the MSG selects the duty cycle based on other references, right?

Das TV sollte man besser "auf dem Kopf" betrachten: kleine %-Werte bedeuten "max. "Boost pressure"
Therefore, your MSG is reacting correctly.
