Since I sold my good old 1Z two weeks ago, I wanted to say a few more words about this great car. The car is completely cleared out, and various spare parts are still being discussed and traded within this forum .

"The new owner of my car thinks, '...this is the best-running 90 horsepower Golf I've ever driven...' (the car was sold without a tuning box)." If he only knew... or he's never driven a TDI before.

2. The fuel injection pump was replaced by the VAG service center with a different one (not a new one, as far as I could tell). Unfortunately, I cannot determine whether it still exhibits any jerking or hesitation. However, the replacement performed before the sale makes me somewhat concerned.

74 kW (100 hp), PD-TDI, EURO 4 (German standard).
