I have a problem, and I don't know who or which forum could help me!

'The passenger seat occupancy sensor in my car (a 1999 Mazda 323F 2.0 DITD) is defective. A new sensor costs €520.'

I was wondering if it's possible to bypass this sensor in some way, so that it appears as if someone is always sitting in the passenger seat, and thus the passenger airbag is always triggered in the event of an accident, regardless of whether the seat is occupied or unoccupied.

I am grateful for any advice!
