Hello everyone!
I'm still driving my A6 2.5 V6 TDI. It now has 155,000 kilometers on the odometer.
Can you still install a power box (PSI) on it, despite the high mileage, or should you refrain from doing so because of the high mileage?
If so, for what reasons?
Thank you for your information!
DENNIS

HI!
You'll have to figure it out yourself!
I also had a chip installed in my car back then, when it had 190,000 kilometers on it.
I can't complain, but you shouldn't overdo it afterwards.

I've had a tuning box installed in my Ibiza for about 25,000 km, and it now has 186,000 km on the clock. So far, I haven't had any problems, but I also don't push it too hard.

Hi,
Most tuners say that you should only chip a car up to around 100,000 kilometers.
A friend told me that they (almost) only do it because of the fuel injectors. Things like changes in the spray pattern due to wear and tear.
I've seen quite a few TDI engines that had over 150,000 km and were still running fine after being chipped.
If you want to be on the safe side, you can swap the nozzles beforehand.
There are VW TDI models that were chipped at 130,000 km and driven up to 320,000 km. (But only because they were then sold.)
Well, but there's no guarantee anywhere.
See you later.

Hi,
Since you're already talking about chip tuning here, I don't need to start a new thread.
I'd like to know if it's true that chip tuning can reduce fuel consumption – I can kind of see that happening. But a friend told me that it can also reduce engine knocking. I have a 1995 Golf 3 TDI with 66 kW. Does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone here ever had a chip installed?
