Hello,
I have a TDI with 90 horsepower, which is the 1Z engine.
The intake manifold pressure sensor is likely not located in the engine control unit (ECU) of the 1Z engine, but somewhere else, outside of it.
Does anyone perhaps know where?
G71 - Sensor for the intake manifold pressure pipe.
Thank you and best regards.

The 1Z, AHU, and ALE engines all have 90 horsepower.

But they all have the "intake manifold pressure sensor" integrated into the engine control unit.

Thank you.
I have another question:
"How is it that some people in the forum write that the 1Z vacuum sensor is located outside?"

There is certainly a mistake here.

Only the newer models have the "intake manifold pressure sensor" directly integrated into the turbocharger boost hose. For the 1Z engine, it is definitely located in the engine control unit.

That's the danger of the internet:

You get quickly access to information, you get cheaply access to information, but how reliable is it ???

We cannot (and do not want to) delete or modify every incorrect post. You have to read the entire post and still exercise some caution.

But if you look at your 1Z, you can see the hose from the intake manifold to the engine control unit... it's not for cooling the same with compressed air icon_lol.gif.

Thank you, I found it.
I need to carefully check if there's a leak somewhere in the hose, or something similar, because I'm getting an error message that the gauge sensor is intermittently shorting to ground.
