OBD Experts: Speedometer Issues & Solutions

Hello.

I have a 1999 Bora TDI with a 4-speed automatic transmission. I have already acquired a 6-speed manual transmission along with all the other parts necessary for the conversion.

What happens to the speedometer? Is it possible to adjust the MFA (Multifunction Display) so that the mileage display disappears from the screen?

Depending on the instrument cluster (part number?), this happens automatically.
