Remove the viscous coupling unit?

Hello,

I just pulled my timing belt out of the engine compartment for the second time, completely in pieces. When it's cold, **it gets grumpy**.

It was observed that the tension roll is slightly misaligned.
Wanted to replace it and now I have the problem that to remove the support element...
the Viscosity fan coupling is in the way and needs to be removed.

The vehicle is a 1998 Passat 3BG with AFN.

Has anyone ever removed the Visco fan coupling?
On the back side, you can see a screw with an 8mm hexagonal head, but when you turn this screw, the pulley of the fan viscous coupling will turn. I have no way.

Dafür gibt es einen Zweilochmutterndreher , mit dem man die Riemenscheibe gegenhält.

Wenn dieser nicht vorhanden, kannst du vorsichtig mit einer super guten grösseren Wapuzange zwischen Riemenscheibe und Viscolüfter auf den Absatz vor der Riemenscheibe greifen und den Lüfter mit einem Ruck lösen.

Solltest du ungeschickt in der Benutzung solcher Werkzeuge sein, dann besorge dir besser das o.B. Werkzeug.
